Diane Chase:
From Sudbury, Ontario, where her love for singing began, Diane performed for friends and neighbors as an enthusiastic five year old. Her talent also earned her extra notoriety as she was the youngest of ten children. Her endless enjoyment of singing led to her first paid engagement at fourteen years old and there has been no stopping her since. Diane's accomplishments over the past four years have certainly set her on a course for success. Her single "Walkin' Away With You" earned Top 20 status, "Taking Back my Heart" climbed to Top 10 position and "There I Go Again" went Top 20 . Recently "Crazy In Love" also hit Top 20 . She has earned awards for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2000 & 2002 Ontario Country Performer & Fan Association Awards as well as numerous CCMA nominations. Diane has toured with Alabama & The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and most recently has been asked to open for Alan Jackson. Now featured with Steve and Duane on the Songwriter tour, she is definately "In The Middle Of Something"!!
Steve Fox: This will be the second tour for Steve Fox as part of the Songwriters lineup. He was so wildly successful in our last tour, we had to bring him back. He is funny and an absolute delight with the audiences. Most importantly he is one of Canada's best songwriters and guitarists, who sings from his soul nd is also a great guitarist. As well as our other performers on this line up, Steve has numerous awards under his belt including a Juno nomination for Best New Country Artist 2002. He was recently nominated for 5 Just Plain Folk Awards, to be held in LA March of 2003. This is no small feat as there were over 100,000 song submissions and Steve earned 5 catgories. Some of Steve's Singles are "Cheap Red Wine", "Everything", "Moving to a Small Town", "You'll Find Love" and "Daddy Won't Sell the Farm"
Duane Steele:
Each year, for the past 13 years, Duane has earned nominations and awards from our most prestigious music industry associations, including 5 Junos and 11 from the CCMA. Not to mention provincial country music awards. Since his first major hit "Anita Got Married", to the duet with Lisa Brokop "Two Names on an Overpass" and now with his current top 20 cd, which includes "This is Love that I found" ," 1-65" "What To Do" and " The Good Side of Your
Goodbye" Duane has ridden high on the country charts. His voice is one of the purest and it's our pleasure to bring this talented singer songwriter to stages across the nation. He is the consummate professional and a true gentleman.
