AMI Amsterdam Management Inc.

A.M.I.  was incorporated in 1989 when Elisa Amsterdam formed an artist management company. She had worked in the industry many years prior, including film, radio and as a singer and keyboard player in the 70s.
Elisa was successful in producing the one man play "Darrow" featuring Leslie Nielsen, which toured extensively in North America and Europe. As well , she continued to support music and subsiquently formed AMI Music , a label and publishing company with the assistance of Jana Reid .
AMI was instrumental in  launching of the careers of Steve Fox and Tracey James and has acted as management and label for both artists. AMI  also produced shows which have toured Canada such as The Songwriters Tour, which featured the talents of Lisa Brokop, Steve Fox and Jamie Warren and a second tour of the same name which included Diane Chase and Duane Steele and Steve Fox. Duane and Steve were on the AMI roster at that time. Wendell Ferguson, the award winning guitarist and comedic songwriter has been on the AMI roster for a few years now, and a subsiquent show featuring his talents along with those of Nancy White and Roger James, both musical comics , and co produced with Campbell Webster Entertainment enjoyed successful performances nationally in major market theatre venues.
AMI's business relationship as management has included: bookings, tour co ordination, music licensing, radio promotions, ad design and placements, career councelling, and design of promotional materials.
